Digital Editing

The staff uses SNO FLOW as a central hub for all stories which allows editors to post straight from there to the SNO site. Those stories are moved through the editing chain of command first as we use the platform to submit the story to the section editor who passes it on to the copy editor, who then passes it on to myself and my co-EIC as each editor deems fit. When I receive a notification a story is ready to be edited, I open their Google Doc and begin to leave comments. I aim to provide a valid explanation for every single comment I leave. I do that hoping my feedback will translate into the reporter applying the edit themselves in their future work.
