Understanding storylines matter.
My main mission as the Summer Communications and Marketing Intern for RBI Austin was to capture their youth baseball and softball league in a way that promotes belonging, hope and positivity. This challenged me as a journalist, especially with it being my first time shooting for these sports and photographing kids. Sports bring people together, and with RBI Austin’s mission to use baseball and softball programs to serve inner-city kids, I am honored to have played a small part in that.
